St. Rose, Las Vegas Nurses Vote to Join CNA/NNOC

1,100 St. Rose RNs Will Unite With 10,500 Other CNA/NNOC Nurses in 30 Catholic Healthcare West Hospitals

Registered nurses at three St. Rose Dominican hospitals in Henderson and Las Vegas Wednesday night voted by 76 percent to join the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee.

The election, conducted by the National Labor Relations Board, affects 1,100 RNs at the Siena and Rose de Lima campuses in Henderson, and the San Martin facility in Las Vegas.

The St. Rose Dominican RNs voted 409 to 135 for CNA/NNOC. About 60 percent of eligible RNs voted.

With the vote,  St. Rose Dominican RNs will be united with 10,500 other Catholic Healthcare West RNs currently represented by CNA/NNOC in 30 CHW hospitals in California and Nevada.
